Speaker, presenter applications being accepted for 2014 Beyond Safety Conference & Expo

MERRILLVILLE | The fourth annual Beyond Safety Conference & Expo, which will be held on Feb. 11 and 12, 2014 at the Radisson Star Plaza in Merrillville, is now accepting applications from interested presenters and speakers. In partnership with Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable and the American Society of Safety Engineers, this event brings almost 600 safety professionals together each year to experience the latest in safety education and technology.

The Beyond Safety Conference hosts two full days of 25 educational sessions, more than 50 exhibitors, keynote speakers, private rooms for corporate meetings, networking cocktail reception in the Expo Hall, and a VIP after-party. The benefits offered to speakers and presenters at the Beyond Safety Conference includes a complimentary two-day conference ticket, the speaker’s biography and company information listed on the official program and website, speaker presenter ribbons on name badges and networking opportunities with other leaders in the field.

“The Beyond Safety Expo brings together owners from vital local companies like BP, NIPSCO, US Steel, and ArcelorMittal, contractors, and safety experts to ensure that everyone is up to date on the latest safety trends. At its heart, this event is about having your team work safely and return home in the same or better condition than when they came to work,” said Rick Foor, TAR HSSE Specialist for BP and safety subcommittee chair for NWIBRT.
